Kids Take On The Helm
By racing boats and competing with others on an obstacle course, albeit using special hi-tech simulators, at the Progressive Insurance Harbor exhibit. They can also practice docking skills along with mom and dad operating a radio-controlled cruiser, among other interactive features.
Build A Mini Boat
Available at the Cleveland Amateur Boat Builders Society exhibit where kids can assemble, decorate and take home their own mini power or sailboat using a wooden kit that been created just for the show by society members.
All New Fishing Expo
This section will cater to the kids, too. For example, the new live Trout Pond will feature pro angler Jim Vitaro helping kids to catch and release; Outdoor radio personality Dan Armitage will conduct kids fishing clinics daily from the unique Berkley 5000-gallon Bass Tank presented by Boat Masters Marine.

Meet The Pros
David Dudley
Dudley is three-time winner of FLW’s coveted Angler of the Year trophy. Dudley’s dominating 2012 season included wins at Beaver Lake and Lake Champlain, followed by a third-place at the Potomac and a top-10 finish at the Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Lanier (fifth). .
Fat Cat Newton
Fat Cat Newton was born on Sept. 1, 1978 in White Oak, Va., into a humble family of commercial fishermen. His dad and uncles harvested blue crabs and catfish from the Potomac River, and he says much of his childhood was spent with them on the water.
Randall Tharp
The “Honey Badger” is one of only two anglers competing on the Bass Pro Tour with both a Forrest Wood Cup trophy and a Bassmaster Elite Series title to their credit. Tharp – the winner of the 2013 Forrest Wood Cup on the Red River in Louisiana – has collected 11 wins and 60 Top 10 finishes in his career.
